How do you ensure that a leading electronics brand makes a major splash at the most influential tech event in the world? You curate a space that transcends physical limitations and throw one hell of a party. 

Journey

Gaining insight & Building a foundation

We showed people what’s possible when tech and culture collide. Guests journeyed through Connectivity Theater and Sustainability Forest, completed quests to earn NFTs, joined a live dance party, and were entered to win limited-supply, branded wearables. This history-making event – marking Samsung’s first foray into the metaverse – informed, entertained, and generated excitement like nothing before. Experiencing mythic encounters in virtual forests, guests also learned of Samsung’s real-world initiative to plant two million trees in the first quarter of this year. Seamlessly blending physical and digital worlds to enhance people’s lives is something Razorfish and Samsung are both passionate about.

Outcome

CES was the perfect place to show off Samsung’s leadership in web3 innovation.

Scoring the largest brand takeover in Decentraland to date (and put together in a mere six weeks by the Razorfish team!), CES marked a bold milestone for Samsung that set the tone for what’s to come.

In just 24 hours, 19,000+ people experienced Samsung 837X and 54,000 NFTs were claimed, garnering 16,000 social media mentions. Within a week, the event earned more than a billion organic impressions. A whopping 97 percent of the buzz was positive. And it's just the beginning. Next, we’ll bring Samsung 837X to the entire planet through its expanding multiverse across numerous platforms.Â
